<image:caption>This was made out of something found on my daily walk. It was an ugly wallpapered “M,” with some kind of metal decoration fastened to the front. My husband removed the metal for me, and I peeled off the wallpaper, and then set to resurfacing it for my teen granddaughter. It was a fun project and my granddaughter loved it. In private collection.</image:caption>

<image:title>Gallery - Curiosity</image:title>
<image:caption>This is a large mosaic I created during early Covid lockdown for my son and his family of five. It was installed outdoors at one end of their swimming pool. Each turtle represents a member of the family. I used thinset mortar to adhere the hand-cut stained & iridescent glass to construction board. The round and slightly raised bubbles and the turtles’ eyes were created in a kiln by fusing clear and iridescent glass together. The mosaic was finished with charcoal-colored grout. It is 3 feet by 5 feet.</image:caption>

<image:title>Gallery - Afghan Carpet</image:title>
<image:caption>This was my contribution to a public art project that requested mosaic artists to make mosaics that reflect the culture of Afghani women, in order to draw attention to their struggle for freedom and basic rights. It was a worldwide project, and it is still in the process of coming together. This is just my contribution, and once I get a photo of the completed project, I will post it. It will be a depiction, in mosaic, of a very long scarf.</image:caption>

<image:caption>This is my representation of the total solar eclipse that I saw in August 2017 from atop Mt. Rendezvous, Wyoming, over 10,000 feet high! It was definitely a high point in my life to experience the power of celestial movement. This mosaic was made using 24 carat white gold glass tile, stained glass, slate, and tinted mortar. 12” x 16” Framed 14” x 18” NFS</image:caption>
